THE PROFITABILITY OF MACAU GAME INDUSTRY

Macau has become without any doubt one of the best examples of the profitability that it could generate the regularization of online games, as well as land based casinos.

FORECAST FOR THE GAME SECTOR

As in many other industries, the game sector has already started to make its forecasts for the new year which has just started. In general, the forecasts made by the experts on this sector are very optimistic as they all foreseen a big growth in this market.

During the last year, many gaming companies had been suffering the consequences of the economic crisis, which affected less the online games sector. In fact, many online casinos and poker rooms had not been affected at all.

Among the more positive forecasts it is worth to mention the one made by Ambrose So, main responsible of SJM Holdings, company which has a big number of casinos in Macau, as he foreseen a big growth in that industry during the next 12 months.

Moreover, the company Melcro Crown Entertainment has also stated that they expect a growth of the 20 or 25% with respect to the last year. If those estimations are right, the online game industry as well as the land based casinos will have a great year ahead of them.
